Ricardo Lopes was born in Lisbon in 1994, studied sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Lisbon (FBAUL), did Erasmus at the University of Kiel, is currently getting a Master in Fine Arts at the Northumbria University, UK. Participant of numerous exhibitions and festivals, including Open Galleries of FBAUL; "Avante!" Festival; "INSIDE / OUTSIDE", Palácio do Marquês de Pombal, Oeiras; Open Day 4.0 ADAO, Barreiro; International Mail Art Award, Museum of Nova Gorica, Kromberk Castle, Slovenia. His work focuses mainly on the sea, politics, society and ecology.
