If there is a need to describe variable practice of Katya Solodina in one word it will be “collage”. It doesn’t really matter in which form of art gets her artistic thought: it may be pieces of paper, paint drips, or fixation of reality - the only thing that matters is layers of consciousness.
It’s always unostentatious, but quite rectilinear juxtaposition of situations, stories, textures, which look like always exaggerated and confused, but incredibly important childhood memories and dreams.
